Die Form 1 im engeren Sinne ist jedenfalls nichts weiter, wie die Abgrenzung einer Fläche von der anderen. Dies ist ihre Bezeichnung im Äusseren. Da aber alles Äussere auch unbedingt Inneres in sich birgt (stärker oder schwächer zum Vorschein kommend), so hat auch jede Form inneren Inhalt. Die Form ist also die Äusserung des inneren Inhaltes.

Kandinsky states that “internal beauty is achieved through necessity and renunciation of the conventionally beautiful. To those who are not accustomed to it it appears as ugliness.”

Can “internal beauty” as artistic necessity, thus celebrated by Kandinsky, deceive the soul (“Seele“) and please the eye ?
