Featuring 60 ink works with 10 new works to be unveiled, Gao Xingjian Experience is the first retrospective exhibition by the Nobel Prize Laureate in Asia.

Chinese author Gao Xingjian won the Nobel for literature in 2000, the first Chinese to be so honoured, when he was already living in exile in France.

Gao Xingjian is also a highly original painter, and a new exhibition in Singapore shows the same struggle for expression and meaning found in his writing.1
